Happy New Year Everybody
It’s 2012 over here in Korea, and I can’t help already feeling extremely nostalgic for the year that was twenty-eleven. ‘Twas Next Level, to say the least. I’ve spent a substantial amount of time over the last month preparing what I consider to be the best 100 songs of the year. The goal was to create a diverse collection of songs (no duplicate artists) spanning every genre that I consider to be relevant, from variations of electronica like UK funky/juke/footwork/post-dubstep and experimental ambient to the newest forms of pop, hip hop, and alternative rock: The breadth of the list is extensive, its scope wide. Please enjoy my upcoming selection and take advantage of the Mediafire links I’ve provided for each set of 20 songs, as well as the youtube videos I’ve linked for each track. May 2012 provide you with the most positive of vibes.
